[quote name=\'clemon79\' date=\'Nov 7 2005, 03:58 PM\'][quote name=\'tvwxman\' date=\'Nov 7 2005, 07:32 AM\']The Squares board was no more than 15 feet. Most (if not all) celebs could not stand straight in their box (like Bruce Vilanch, for example),

There's a joke here about Bruce Vilanch not standing straight _anywhere_, much less in his box, but it would be rather inappropriate for me to make it. :)

Gah! Bruce Vilanch being straight inside a box. Bad picture!

There's a joke HERE about Bruce Vilanch never having been inside a box in his life, but that would be TOTALLY inappropriate to make here... :)

[quote name=\'musicman\' date=\'Nov 7 2005, 07:34 PM\']According to the THS on HOLLYWOOD SQUARES, the gameboard was 17 feet tall.

I thought I remembered hearing the board was 18 feet for the Marshall and Davidson versions, and 12 feet on the Bergeron version.  No wonder Bruce had to crouch...it's not what you think.  You guys are sick.

I used to wonder how they kept the wiring untangled and why the whole column wouldn't even budge when a letter was turned, and I still wonder a little.

As a game show fan, I love the new menu board at work. The value meal section is made of lighted trilons. The bulb and its support are stationary, therefore the wiring does not get tangled.

Anyone care to estimate the size of the board on MG/HS?  It had to have been much smaller.

12 feet for the MGHSH board I'd buy. I don't buy it for the Bergeron show, though.

As you shouldn't.  Standing beside it personally, it definitely wasn't 12 feet.
