Met a former G/T host today

Ed McMahon came to town today to sign copies of his new book. I waiting in line for about 45 minutes. As I got near he graciously said 'Here's Johnny' for a fan among other things. At my request he signed my copy with the familiar phrase 'Inviting You to Join Johnny and His  Guests....'

I think if I heard him say "Heeeeeere's Johnny" I would get depressed realizing Johnny is no longer here. Ed will always be ingrained in my mind as part of that historic Carson Team. Ed without Johnny is like the Lone Ranger without his Horse.
Anyway, I'm glad that you had a chance to meet him. It must have been a thrill.
