GSN Adds New Game Shows
« on: November 22, 2005, 06:59:57 AM »
I have classes in a few, so I'll just say it.  The Amazing Race loses it's Monday at 9PM slot, so it's regulated to Wednesday-Sunday at 9PM ET.  Press Your Luck will replace The Newlywed Game at 12:30PM ET on the weekday lineup.  Whammy will move back a half hour on weekends, to 11:30AM, if anyone watched it anyway.  This is exciting for me: GSN apparently picked up George Gray Weakest Link.  It will air in the 4-5PM ET time slot it currently has.  Some really good schedule changes here.

That is a good change for once. All Tomarkenites will be thrilled to see that PYL's finally returning to weekdays after about.....a year and a half or so. Also good to see that they picked up the better version of WL.

I am looking forward if the 11PM '70s Hour' will have rotating shows. Just dreaming but maybe Peter Marshall's 'Hollywood Squares' can turn up.

When does this schedule start? What will air at 11:30AM on weekends now? Does this mean no Newlywed Game on the schedule at all. If the latter is true, it will be the first time NG has been completely off the schedule, and will leave Jeopardy! and Feud(1994-95 season aired during the GT-less Dark Period) as the only shows to have aired the entire 11 years of GSN's history. Discounting the Dark Period, MG7x could be added to that list.

Doubtful.  The way I read it, GSN will air two MG eps in the hour slot.

Does anyone else find this amusing, considering the poster is the proprietor of the PYLP Palace?

In fact, Mark, why would you name your site after a show you supposedly hate?

In other news, be on the lookout for my new website....... the PyramiDominion.

And now...a history lesson:
I was not the original owner of said Palace.  I inheireted it from Brett Tatsuno, and later Zach Coverstone.  It was then called the Press Your Luck Palace.  Sometime in late 2003-early 2004; one of my operators and I colaborated on a new name in an attempt to get new people to come; who might stay away for fear of "Tomarkenitse"; while still keeping the old name.  Hence, PYLP Studios.

What about the Davidson version?
Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

Slightly better, but not by a lot. At least the game wasn't the problem there, just the host. :)

One look at that "Things that are Stiff" incident proves this point. It's just the way that he said "Are we still on the air???" that just irks me.  It may not irk you, but it sure irks me.

What irks me about John Davidson is how when he opens his mouth, words and other sounds come out. :)
