Easiest Show to Host?
« on: December 30, 2005, 03:15:02 PM »
That post about nineteen different people hosting "To Tell the Truth" over the years got me thinking:  we've talked in the past about shows we'd all like to host, but what show do you think was the easiest to host?

Pretty well everyone who hosted "TTTT" seemed to do it quite well, so is it because being in the hosts chair was quite simple?

Obviously a show like "Price is Right" wouldn't qualify because of all the rules to all the different games that the host has to know.

What about "Deal or No Deal" - is that a show that practically anyone could do?

Any thoughts?

And in fact, you were the first responder.

It certainly wouldn't be The Price Is Right, which has me thinking. If Bob Barker were to retire, die or become infirmed, would CBS cancel the show or replace him? And who would the replacement be?

First I rolled my eyes. Then I realized you deserved more credit than that, and read it again.

Well played, sir.

Hmmm...I couldn't remember if we talked about this before, but when I tried to use the "search" function it returned an error.

To be honest, it's hard to remember everything we've talked about over the years :)

"easiest show", in quotes, wasn't exactly a taxing search.
