I did some searching on
Zap2it, and for the last week, NBC has been averaging 5.0-5.7 ratings in the timeslot, depending on the night. So in order to have any chance of a later run, I would think the numbers have to be higher than that. It may only be slightly higher considering it is the week before Christmas, so if they can get a 6.0-6.5, with it consistant or rising through the week, the odds are decent it would get picked up.
Here's the competition on the other three major networks...
MONDAY:
ABC:Wife Swap
CBS:King of Queens and How I Met Your Mother
FOX:2 eps of Arrested Development
(I think this is a possible good night for them....Only one of the AD eps is new)
TUESDAY:
ABC:According to Jim and Rodney
CBS:NCIS
FOX:Bones
(NCIS is rerunning both parts of their season opener...that may hurt, but the ABC comedies won't be much trouble.)
WEDNESDAY:
ABC:George Lopez and Freddie
FOX:That 70's Show and Stacked
CBS:A Home for the Holidays (music special)
(This could be the best night of the bunch...not a lot of shows people would flock to ordinarily-but the special could be a bit of trouble)
THURSDAY:
ABC:Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
FOX:The O.C.
CBS:Without a Trace
(Extreme Makeover is a repeat of a 2-hour ep from last year, and OC is running their Chrismakkuah eps...Big competition here could be Without a Trace)
FRIDAY:
ABC:Supernanny
FOX:Movie:Ice Age
CBS:Ghost Whisperer
(CBS is dominant here...and the movie could take away some families)
