Aussie WWTBAM looking for a new host....

...because the current host is becoming head of the network...

Here's one story on it.....I love this quote--"You fail and you let the boss down, you succeed and you make the boss look bad"....and it's still pretty popular down there too from what I understand...

I will add another two articles which confirms the change of role for Eddie:

And yes - "Millionaire" is still a very popular show - it survived the onslaught of the ratings juggernault "Desperate Housewives" last year, and despite 2 millionaire wins near the end of last year - is set to start the new year with gusto., However - whether it will fare as well under the stewardship of another host is yet to be seen. Of the two personalities mentioned in the article - only Richard Wilkins has hosted a game show ("Keynotes" in 1992 - a summertime show which lasted the one season) and in my opinion is the more likely of the two to get the gig. Peter Overton is involved in current affairs (notably "60 Minutes") and is a pleasant enough personality - but hasn't the experience in light entertainment.
