Sajak doing radio commentaries
« on: February 14, 2006, 01:46:04 PM »
Per this column in the Baltimore Sun (may require registration or a workaround such as bugmenot.com), Pat Sajak is now doing two-minute commentaries on the two Maryland radio stations he owns, WNAV in Annapolis and WTTR in Westminster.  He describes the commentaries as "Andy Rooney but not as annoying" and says that their focus will be on lighter topics.  (Hat tip: dcrtv.com)

WNAV has an Internet stream but there's no note as to when the commentaries air.

Although WTTR looks like it's satellite-fed, it's nice to see that Pat has kept WNAV as a an old-school community-oriented, full-service local station (O'Reilly's the only daily syndicated show on the station).  The people in Annapolis can consider themselves lucky that they have someone like Pat Sajak running a station that still serves their community--and that even plays recently-recorded music every so often on AM!
