I didn't tape it, but GSN had shown a couple of color TTTT eps with Goodson filling in during their "Breakfast With The Stars" promo in 2002. I believe they date back to 1967.

By the way this one also had Betsy Palmer filling in for Kitty Carlisle, and the first subject was a smokin' hottie who was an underwater stuntwoman. One of the impostors was a Playboy Club bunny. Other than Goodson hosting, I'm wondering why this was kept? ;)
What a treat this was. The videotape looked to be in surprisingly pristine condition.
Edit: one more clue about the date: Goodson mentions it being Thursday, because he's hoping Collyer will be well enough to come back "either tomorrow or Monday."

There was at one point a plan to use the color daytime episodes in rerun syndication, in the way that Password was syndicated. This didn't occur (they decided to revive it instead), but they kept the tapes anyway.

As a big TTTT fan, this was an absolute treat. Set looks great in color, and the audience vote was a good idea.
I'm especially glad they picked this particular episode to rerun; when GSN reran the Mark Goodson guest-hosted episodes of TTTT in '02, this was the only one I missed.

I personally believe that the color TTTT we'll see in January will be a Collyer episode.
Has GSN aired the whole week Goodson subbed?

They aired two Goodson episodes from that week in 2002. Up to 1997, GSN was airing the daytime TTTT episodes regularly and they got as far as mid-1967 so about a couple dozen color daytime episodes have aired in the past but they never got to the point when the set was overhauled and the theme changed, which we've only seen represented on the last show from 1968.

Do tell. Then how is it that in 1991 when Mark was tapped to fill in for Alex Trebek as "surprise host" on To Tell The Truth that he mentioned on-camera that he'd never hosted the show before?

When the Playboy bunny gave her name, it sounded like "Joey Addison."
Comprehensive online research (i.e., idly surfing Google) reveals that a Joie Addison appeared in the 1970 Allen Funt film "What Do You Say to a Naked Lady?" as well as a 1971 feature called "Sweet Savior" which apparently was inspired by the Sharon Tate murder case. I strongly suspect it's the same young woman.

Hello, all, from an occasional reader and first-time poster. You may guess from my username which DVD set I purchased and am plowing through at present.
Did GSN publicize last night's ep at all?
GSN's dreaded credit crunches hit both B/W Overnight shows last night. Other than on the recent '70s Password, GSN had been avoiding this on B/W shows in the wee-hours slot.

All I ever heard was the month of December would feature TTTT's from various eras. The Chuck Jones appearance was a real treat for me, as I have always been a fan of Warner Brothers animation. I regret there wasn't any after-game talk time on this one.
Game 2, by the way, featured Mary Kay Ash of Mary Kay cosmetics/pink Cadillac fame.

A New York talk show host of the time.
And if anyone knows, was he the disc jockey "Long John Wade" who was on WFIL in Philadelphia in 1966 and 1967 (among many other stations).
