"WANTED: Very smart people to stand in a box on a prime-time game show for hours and hours with virtually no face time and a miniscule chance to win any money at all, no matter how successful, while other, inferior trivia players walk away with six figure paydays."
Where do I sign up?

In a case of "huh," I got a call from a *1 vs. 100* contestant coordinator last Thursday in regards to the January tapings. Went something like this...
Me: Hello?
CC: Is this James?
Me: Yes
CC: Hi, it's <NAME> from *1 vs. 100*. How are you?
Me: Pretty good. What's up?
CC: Well, we have you down as having been on the show earlier this year, and based on your background and what you wrote on your application, I have a question for you.
Me: OK. What is it?
CC: We're having *Lingo* tryouts tomorrow in Hollywood. Would you like to try out?
I'm still scratching my head over that one.
James
PS -- I passed on the tryout.

Understandable...but it's possible that the coordinator you spoke with may no longer be working for "1 vs 100". When I did "Twenty One", I somehow got cold called months later to see if I was interested in being on a dating show. Don't remember the name, it didn't last long.

When I was on 1 vs 100 in November, I befriended someone in the mob who was already on LINGO. Apparently, the same casting coordinators for 1 vs 100 do LINGO and did shows like Beat the Geeks, etc.
Good luck to you!
Tim :-)
