Thumbing through this issue in the doctor's office, I came across a column called "Media Watchdog" with the headline "The Bob Factor." The writer asks, "Can any other recent 50-plus game show host stack up to Barker?" Everyone is given a rating and I can only assume the more points, the higher the rating.
Mandel - 3, O' Hurley - 1, Saget - 2, Shatner - 1.
Senility jokes aside, this is just wrong, wrong, wrong. O'Hurley and Saget bring both wit and style to their hosting duties while DoND format gives Mandel nothing to do but act as traffic cop.
