Any of you guys happen to see who was shooting those pool balls on "National Bingo Night" on ABC on Friday? Yep, it was the Striking Viking herself - former "Ballbreakers" co-hostess Ewa Mataya Laurance!

How does one thing lead to another in this situation? Was clearing a rack part of the challenge?
/Ha ha, rack.
/Trick shot pool > NBN

Sort of. A correct "odd/even" call would eliminate the numbers on that ball from a grid of 1-9. Each "elimination" would also be carried out via trick shot by the Striking Viking. Getting rid of 1-9 before a bingo won $50,000. The trick shot element was merely some nifty chrome, and by far the best part of the entire hour.
I will give them credit, what they do, they do well. They seem to have gotten rid of the dubbed voice-over bits, which was a good thing. I watched once to see what the whole fuss was about, and as far as brain candy goes it accomplishes what it sets out to do, but I think once was enough.
