and the article says it's based on this format, but not exactly like it....

Concentration.  Please.  I beg of you.  Play the endgame for eleventy billion dollars.  Anything.  Please.  Last time I checked, you don't have to pay for rights.  It's even cheaper.  Please.

Yeah, it does.  Guess NBC wanted something more like "Nothing But the Truth" in case "Amne$ia" doesn't work out (and they're doing contestant searches for that show now).

And all these years ago, would any of us watching "Fun House" would seriously think that JD Roth was going to become this big reality show tycoon?
