Title: Out of all of the DVDs in the World...
Post by: mmb5 on February 25, 2008, 12:37:05 PM
I had to demo one of our DVD applications to an employee, so I went down to our DVD department to get a sample DVD.  They handed me this (http://\"http://www.amazon.com/Goddess-Love-Vanna-White/dp/B0001WTVES/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1203953732&sr=8-2\") absolutely at random out of a bin of extras.  Apparently this has been available since 2004.  Who knew?

I see approximately a bazillion of those every time I walk into a Big Lots store.

Wow, I never knew Betsy Palmer had a role in Goddess of Love.

What are David Naughton and "Joe Isuzu" up to these days?

Wow.  Coincidentally, a few minutes ago, a fellow teacher and I were talking about Married...with Children.  It then segued to Goddess of Love, due to the Amanda Bearse connection, and the fact the fellow teacher thinks Vanna is the God's gift to men*.  Maybe a trip to Big Lots is in order, to surprise the old man.

Ah yes, Big Lots... The world's largest garage sale overstock/deep discount chain. For people who think Kmart is too high end.

/is a regular shopper of both Kmart and Big Lots

In the Norfolk/Newport News market, he portrays a shady lawyer in "The Hurt Line" law firm commercials.

/ObGameShow: David Leisure played a game show host on an early "Married...With Children" episode.
//That episode was eerie at how it predicted how game/reality shows would become in the future.

I dunno.  I've always thought of Vanna as a MILF, myself.

/Although I like Amy Jo Johnson better.  :D

Mike, try FYE before Big Lots. Don't want you to overpay. FYE has had a bunch of them for .99 in those thin cardboard sleeves for quite a while (along with a bunch of old late '80's-early '90's TV movies controlled by Hearst Entertainment).  That's where I bought mine (If you buy an assortment of titles, the clerk won't see Vanna and say "You're buying THIS?!?!")
