Now, I admit that Whad'Ya Know? isn't exactly Jeopardy!, but there's a quiz, and there are prizes. So...I submit that we take note of this (http://\"http://www.otb-games.com/whaknow/index.html\"):
It's the Whad'ya Know box game! I haven't seen it in a store yet, but was a phone-answering volunteer at my local NPR station yesterday and saw it--quite cool looking.
Is this the first Public Radio-related home game? I can't think of another one... Carmen S didn't have a radio incarnation, did she?

No, I don't believe there was a radio version of Carmen SanDiego.
There is a connection between NPR and Carmen SanDiego which is relevant. WitWiCS host Greg Lee hosted a 90-minute weekday radio show for kids on NPR called "Kids America" in the mid-to-late 80s.

I actually was on that thing as a phone player from River Falls, WI -- MANY MANY YEARS AGO... (Talking about 1990 or so)
Still remember the last question was on a certain visitor to a farm recent to the question -- they must've run long, because when I was talking out loud to self about Mikhail Gorbachev's recent visit, I was immediately declared correct for the 3 out of 5 win.
Won a pajama set and some silly Rhino CD or something like that...

Cool! Thanks. Helps in my gift-giving list for Christmas. :)

The closest thing to another Public Radio program's home game I can think of a book based on "Says You!" -- which I got to read while visiting fellow game show fans in Cleveland (Mike Klauss among them).
