For those who have digital cable, FamilyNet, a christian TV network started showing reruns this week, giving those who didn't get the show during it original run a chance to see it.

Oy. I need to check and see if I get that tonight when I get home, because if I do, I need to make sure my Tivo thinks I DON'T. :)

They also stream their programming (including Crosswords) online (http://\"http://www.tvunetworks.com/watchTV/#c=735\"). Crosswords is on weekdays from 1 pm - 3 pm ET and Tuesday-Saturday mornings at 4 and 4:30 am ET.

Four episodes a day, 20 episodes a week (not counting the overnight reruns)? They trying to go through the season in one month?

MGC Could be in reruns on GSN, I'd like to see that.

Don't give GSN any ideas.
/Unless they intend on crunching the WHOLE episode instead of just the credits.

I won't call "fixed", because they could have started showing it earlier, but I do know it was running last week.
/How about "adjusted"?

But It needs to show it in reruns on GSN..!

It does not need to do anything of the sort. Do you understand, human? It does not need to program anything solely because you wish it.
I'd like to see The $20,000 Pyramid back on the regular schedule, but the channel does not need to run them. And I do not need to see them. I want to, but do not need to. I do not have a Bob Clayton monkey on my back.
Do I want more John Reed King material on the network? Sure, we all do. A documentary on how her $$$ wins 20+ years ago helped Heather Davis Lemon pay her off her debts? Of course. It'd be riveting television....to one person in Seattle, who understands that he does not need to see it. Just wants to. And, therefore, lets it go and leaves it there.
It would behoove you to do the same. Many blessings.

Congratulations, Mr. Lemon on your recent (?) hook-up. And Mr. Howard, is there an archive available for your top 50K game show moments, so when both Matts co-host they will be able to reminisce?

Honestly, I could see GSN picking up the reruns, given they seem to go for a lot more recent stuff, and given that Program Partners wanted to do a second season, GSN makes sense, given the show's budget.
That being said, GSN is not obligated to air the show just because you say so.

To the first, check your Facebook Inbox.
To the second, has there been a coup? I'm hosting this baby with co-hosts Mindy Vega and Crissy Moran.
Wait until you see their opening dance number. The rehearsal for it, I believe, is available on Tube8.
My father, Al Howard, will produce it as soon as Josh Guers gets him some coffee.
Al tells me he'd be delighted to have Johnny Gilbert serve as announcer and so he shall.
My other father, Bob Barker, can't make it since he's not being honored for any reason.
Mark Itkin will beat up the owner of any station that does not pick up for the program for syndication.
Oh, yes, to topic, to topic. If GSN does pick up MGC, can we presume Fan4Sure and his legion are the target audience members of the network these days?

How do you know? I'll do anything to announce on Head 2 Head.

Well I'd say I caught about 1/3 of the shows they aired - am I the only one who really enjoyed this show?? Seriously, after it went off the air, my lunch break just wasn't the same...:( (it aired at 12:30 p.m. where I live).
-
Are there any stations that are still airing the "Best of Season One" or "Inside The Box" episodes this far into the 08-09 broadcast season, or have they all caved in to do double runs of "The Nanny"?
-
I'm pretty sure WTEN in Albany, NY is still airing MGC. They were as of last week.
-

CBS affiliate Channel 19 in Cleveland does for sure. It airs at 9:30am weekdays this season as in the previous.
I've just turned on the channel and am looking right at Ty Treadway. And I've just as quickly turned it right back off.
-
WHME has it at 6:30PM, and has been appointment television for my mom and nine-year old sister.
-
WAHU in Charlottesville, VA, airs MGC weekdays at 11am. Inside the Box at 11:30am was replaced by a second run of TP:AP back in January.
Speaking of which, did Inside the Box have a tournament format, or were all episodes self-contained?
-
WFMZ/Allentown-Philadelphia still airs MGC in the evening at 8:30p. I've seen it rerun in the mid afternoon, as well.
-
So anyway, yes, MGC is still playing its Season One choice shows in some markets.

Add WJAL in Hagerstown, MD to that list too.
/ Next to the West Virginia news, the one thing worth watching on that station.
// That is, if I actually got it.
-
WWMT in Kalamazoo had it on their CW7 affiliate - an afternoon double run in the first season, then changing to a 9 am single run in season 2, so West Michigan was covered. Mixed feelings. As bad a game as it was, you could still holler out the answers at home, and it was better than nothing.

9:30a is a brilliant spot to program MGC. I'm sure the ratings are dismal, but up against Today Show: Hour 239048, and Regis & Kelly, you'd be hard-pressed to program a ratings winner. MGC had to come very cheaply...enough that it was better to run that show in that time period rather than informercials.

Yep. The other "VHF" competition is the soon-to-be-extinct Morning Show With Mike & Juliet.

WVBT moved it from 8:30am (!) to 9am, followed by Style By Jury. They previously paired Best of the Worst of Crosswords with Inside the Box during the 8am hour. A second ep. of Wendy Williams now occupies that slot, so I'm guessing this timeslot change is somewhat recent (within the last month).
Will Program Partners continue the reruns into the fall, with Marie Osmond's show being a no-go?

Well, while I absolutely hated the very broken format, the basic game, at least, kept me entertained and involved with the game.
The "play along" aspect was about the only thing the show got right, really.

Season One: All self-contained (one and you're done).
Season Two: For the majority of the season they were "cycles" of four episodes (taped on the same day). Winners of shows 1-3 played on show four. Winner of show four was eligible for the "winners" tournament - never saw what the actual qualification process. Winners tournament then played off until one final show, where that last winner played the bonus round for double stakes - $20K.
