For every game show host/hostess, announcer, and so on, there is someone in Hollywood who could portray them in a movie. Who would you pick to portray your favorite personality? For example, I always thought Michael Keaton would make a great Peter Tomarken.

Andrew "Dice" Clay as Bob Barker.

Oh, hey kids! Nothing to see here!
Back to the thread, I always thought late-90s/early-2000s era Drew Carey resembled a 1950s Bill Cullen (well, with more weight). Of course, comparisons were made when he took over the show.

When news of a possible Dorothy Kilgallen biopic emerged, someone suggested that Philip Seymour Hoffman (http://\"http://static.episode39.it/artist/1789.jpg\") could play Bennett Cerf (http://\"http://www.born-today.com/btpix/cerf_bennett.jpg\") and I agree with it 150%.

If I've seen enough Hank promos this week, I'd sware Kelsey Grammar would make a good Howie Mandel.
-
Eric Braeden as Alex Trebek.
-
Norm MacDonald as Bill Leyden.
-
George Clooney as Herb Shriner would be too easy, no?

Christopher Knight! Wait...oh.....you meant people who could portray REAL game show personalities....sorry.
Weren't they going to have Bill Murray play Michael Larsen in a film quite a few years back?

Christina Applegate as Dorothy Kilgallen?

Wil Shriner as Herb Shriner?

This thread reminds me of that running gag of Match Game '7X questions that go like this: The Hollywood producer said, "There's something wrong with the casting of this movie. It's the life story of "So-and-so," and in the starring role, they've got BLANK." (Note: I'm NOT running a "netgame.")
Long ago, when I was at another GS group that I will not mention, I suggested Tom Bergeron as Bill Leyden.
Cordially,
Tammy

That would be cool. Quentin Tarantino presents "The Monee Mayz: The Movie."

Christina Applegate as Dorothy Kilgallen?

You'd have to remove more stuff from Christina to make that happen. Like, say, her jaw...

Actually, I think Ashley Judd could make a good Kilgallen.
