Title: "All My Children" maybe going off the air?

Just heard this on my local news at 4 PM.  Nothing definite on the web yet that I can find, but heard it on TV nonetheless.  And it's replacement?  No games--just another talk show.  Discuss.

NOTE: I meant to put this in "The Off-Topic Adventure". Damn.

Off-topic or not, it looks like just a rumor to me.

For right now, that's all it appears to be.  In ABC's denials, they specifically reference a Dateline.com article (http://"http://www.deadline.com/2011/03/abc-may-be-ready-to-trim-its-daytime-drama-lineup-will-all-my-children-go/") which is clearly speculation.  As is customary in the current journalistic climate, lots and lots of other outlets pick up on the rumor story, and before you know it, all the "mights" and the "mays" and the "maybes" have been squeezed out of it.

I'm doing my part by changing the header of the thread to reflect its "maybe" status.

I've always figured if ABC canceled one of its soaps, it would be One Life to Live. It gets better demo ratings than AMC, but gets far worse ratings overall typically.  It's also one of only two daytime soaps not produced in HD (the other being The Bold & the Beautiful.)
