Title: Roger Dobkowitz interview
Post by: SamJ93 on August 25, 2012, 07:06:16 AM
The sixth part (http://"http://sb2tlopg.wordpress.com/2012/08/14/interview-with-roger-dobkowitz-part-6/") of what has to be one of the longest interviews ever has Roger's thoughts on the various try-out hosts after Bob retired.

Very interesting read.  Seems that Dave Price wasn't nearly as bad as had been reported here.  Also, Roger and I both agree re: Marc Summers.

Odd that there is not one mention of Tom Bergeron. To hear him tell it in his book the powers that be wanted him bad enough that they offered to move the show to New York for him.

Valerie was considered for TPIR?!!?

/Would be better than Rosie and Ricki, as female hosts go.
//Hey, I think she's cute on Hot in Cleveland.
///Not as cute as Betty, natch.

Seems likely.

(The former, not the latter.)

Don't think one had anything to do with the other, so I think it's just you.
