Hi everyone,
Does anyone have access to the Jim Perry CS episode guide? I believe there used to be one online, but now I'm only seeing a partial Eubanks guide. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Today's episode originally aired on 3/20/79. Notice that 11/20/78 is listed twice there. It should be 11/20/78, 11/21/78, 11/22/78, 11/24/78.

Great catch. That's why my numbers are off.

That means tomorrow will be 3/21/79!

I think Norma's $28,800 win is also off by a day. Most people have it occuring on Halloween, where the guide lists Nov 1st. Also, on episode 301 it states Jim said it was the 300th show.
Still, a great guide with a lot of good information.

I think you're on to something.
Where it starts to get screwy is show 114. GSN aired that episode, but didn't air 113. 114 isn't accounted for in the sheet, but 115 is. The thing is, I believe, 115 (Martha opens at the Money Cards and busts on a King) should actually be 114 (and the airdate should be 9/28/78). And that puts every episode number and airdate off by 1.
I'll work with this later tonight and see if I can figure out what goes where. It'll give me something to do to avoid the debate tonight. :)

That would be so helpful, thanks! Looking forward to being able to figure out what goes where!

OK, doing a little work in Excel to try to mow this down. A little math involved, so if you get headaches easily, I'll put it as spoiler space so you don't have to read.
Moving episodes 115-151 up a day and up a number (so that 115 is actually 114, with an airdate of 9/28/78) indeed puts Norma's $28,800 win (episode 137) at 10/31/78. 151 and 152 is where the episode guide has both episodes airing on 11/20/78. The Vanderbilt News Archive shows no preemptions for news events through that point, so it's safe to assume 151 aired 11/20, 152 aired 11/21 and 153 aired 11/22. No show on Turkey Day (Macy's Parade), so 154 aired 11/24. Up to that point, episodes ending in 5 or 0 were airing on Friday. Now it's 4 or 9.
The next preemption was Xmas Day (Xmas at Washington Cathedral), so episode 175 which would have aired on Monday (Xmas Day) aired on Tuesday (Boxing Day). Meaning the last show of 1978 was episode 178 (aired 12/29).
So all of the episode numbers in the guide are off by a number and a day starting at 115 and ending at 151. Then they're just off by a number starting at 152 until we get to 314 (notice there's no 7/9/79 episode in the guide; that should actually be 314, with 315 correctly indicated as the 7/10/79 ep).
Hope that helps.

Major props, Doug. This is exactly the kind of geekery I love digging through with TPIR, and it's cool to see someone else doing it for another show.

Much appreciated, Steve. Thanks!

For those of us who like to know exact air dates, any guides out there are great. I'm glad we collectively have what we do!
