Saw it on Family Feud's Twitter and re-tweeted by Buzzerblog.
Family Feud will have a big money tournament after the New Year. It's been a while since one. Since the O'Hurley version I'm guessing

IIRC, the Feud Twitter had a picture of it when they were taping it- I believe it's going to be sponsored by Publisher's Clearing House (like they've been doing for LMAD and TPIR the past couple of years).

I'm betting that there will be a giant out-clause in the rules which will let them not give away the big money.
Something like that the eventual winners have to win Fast Money to claim the big prize...
-
Unlikely. I know Trump Card leaves a bad taste in your mouth, but you shouldn't project like that.
-
Not only that, there's no precedent: Family Feud tournaments have never had the winning team play Fast Money.

Yeah- the last tournament I think it was 400 points to win with a single-single-single-double-triple-sudden death format..
And interestingly, this is not a Tournament of Champions- It's more of a 2nd Chance Tournament. According to the article linked below (no gameplay spoilers, but it does say how much the winners will get and one of the families who will be on), Steve Harvey picked the families from the losers of games since he started hosting in 2010.

I'm guessing the former is actually just the maximum possible jackpot.

FTFY.
