 If it's summer and its a syndicated game show that premiered before the Summer, yeah, there'll be reruns. The Challengers in 1990-91 was to air 52 first-run weeks a year, and would have been the first syndicated game show to do so. The shows taped five a day once a week(on a Sat. or Sun., the shows that would air the next week would be taped). But after the show's fate was known, i.e. no second season renewal, they taped several weeks of shows where the date was not displayed on a monitor behind Dick Clark's podium, and those weeks were rerun in the Summer.

Then they must have known very early, because they didn't show dates for their ToC in November.  However, I can vouch that the Combs syndie Feud had reruns, because I remember watching a rerun of the Halloween episode in summer.
