Title: Casting

Sunday's New York Times ran this article (http://\"http://www.nytimes.com/2004/03/28/business/media/28REAL.html\") on the "science" of casting reality shows.  I found it interesting--particularly because it wasn't run on in the Arts section; this sucker was Section 1 Page 1.  Wasn't the top story, but still--I didn't realize Sunday was such a slow news day!

Nobody bothered talking to Lacey Pemberton (who's casting The Bachelor last I heard)?

Not that I particularly care about how reality shows are cast; I'd love to see what Ms. P. looks like today.  Yes, even though she's married and the kid with whom she was pregnant while dealing on Card Sharks is now an unruly teenager.  (Hey, I'm a new dad myself.)
