Title: Casting call for "Studio 7" on WB network

This was posted on craigslist.org for both NY and LA.  Who knows, maybe elsewhere.  Possible top prize is "up to $70,000."  Casting call looking for "college-age contestants" to live in an NYC location with 6 others for up to a week (sometime between 6/21/04 and 8/22/04) to learn your roommates/competitors strengths and weaknesses, followed by a "quiz-show competition."   Applicants need to mail a 3 minute VHS audition tape to the casting office in New York.

Sounds like "Real World" meets "Survivor" with more than a little "Big Brother.
Which means I'll be "avoiding" this "program."

This is from Michael Davies' production company.  Sounds like he wants to combine Survivor and Millionaire.

No, "Weakest Link" was the lovechild of "Survivor" and "Millionaire."  This sounds to me like "The Newlyroommate Game."

But not like something I'll be anxious to see...

Davies has a full plate this summer--he's also doing ABC's "Domestic Goddess Search" special airing at the end of the month, hosted by that well-known metrosexual Adam Corolla.

Well, I suppose he could find the other metrosexual and start taping in June.....(hey, at least he won't have "Idol" to do.......)
