Title: Elysee Theater
Post by: Jimmy Owen on June 02, 2004, 07:35:52 PM
Was that the original name for TV-15, or was that a totally different studio?  For those that had the pleasure of being there, how did it look from the outside and did it double as a legitimate or movie theater when not being used for TV?

It's the same place. It's just that Elysee was the name of TV-15 before it became TV-15.

As for how it looked......well, times like this, I wish we had William Padron here.

I can't recall the architectural style of the Elysee.  I do remember that it was a nice, little jewel box of a theater.  I do remember it being much smaller than the Sullivan theater, hence the need to re-design the PYRAMID set.

It was no longer used as a legitimate theater once it was converted into a television studio.
