1.) Anybody got the variant of Ferranti used at casinos and on many Aussie game shows, plus the variant of Vane used on Portuguese game shows (in Brazil)?
2.) Is Jay Lewis, Jr. gonna fix some of the sounds on his website? Some of them have the wrong link, giving many of us sounds we don't want associated with the correct file.

Oh, and by the way, weeks ago, someone on this forum asked where I found this Ferranti font I talked about, so here is the link to one of the GS pics with this font showing:

You haven't learned this yet, have you? Instead of posting on the message board to see, learn how to click a damn email link, and email him.
Get a clue.

Is Gshowguy going to take ANY of the advice he's been given? Or is he going to continue to ignore everything except the sound of his own voice?
Whoops, those questions were more appropriate for email than a public posting. See how it works now, Gshowguy?

No, but I believe they were used in some Angola and San Marino game shows

That was me. If I knew what all the numerical characters looked like, I could easily modify my font set to match it. Unfortunantly, from the graphic, I can only see what 3 out of 10 numerical characters look like. E-mail or PM me some kind of description of what the rest look like and I'll get it ready for you.

On his website, I don't think it says to e-mail him what sounds he wants, but changing some sound effects? Hmm...

Yeah, and as the old saying goes, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say it at all."

Oh, BTW, the Ferranti font as seen on Aussie game shows and at casinos have all the numbers looking exactly like the Ferranti font seen on Family Feud, except the "3" has the intersecting point very close to the top line of the "3" rather than in the middle, plus the "7" is in more of the EggCrate variant as seen on "Fun House", "Wipeout", and "Caesars Challenge".
And here are two links that feature pictures of this Vane font as seen in Brazil:

http://www.sbt.co.br/rodaaroda (http://\"http://www.sbt.co.br/rodaaroda\")
NOTE: I hope you know your Portuguese when at the official "Roda a Roda" (that's "Wheel of Fortune" in Brazil) site, because they show only that language's text. There's no English at all.

What his web site says to do is not the issue. You have been told MORE THAN ONCE that if you have questions about a person's web site, common courtesy dictates that you email that person first.

It isn't nice to ignore instructions you've been given numerous times.

You have also been told not to post with one word replies like "Sorry", "Forgot". That wastes bandwidth.

Indeed. :-D
