Title: Pat and Vanna guest starred on Mister Rogers
Post by: irismason42 on October 10, 2004, 10:20:58 AM
If you look at the Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Yahoo Groups, it said that Pat Sajak and Vanna White were mentioned and were guests on an episode of MRN. This is the second time in this forum that we mentioned the MRN show.

But did they really? Since it's been a long while since I last saw Mister Rogers on TV, can anyone back that fact?

I didn't even know there was a Mister Rogers' Yahoo group.
I'll admit it, I'm a fan, mainly of the old shows. The group even has a file section, with lots of cool stuff.

Don't know who you are, or even what gender, but thanks, Iris!

ObGameShow: 10 years ago today, PBS premiered a game show, "Think Twice".

I'm very interested in knowing if this is actually true or not as well.  Was there a timeframe for their visit given?  They could have dropped by when Wheel taped its first 2 weeks of their 15th season in Pittsburgh (where Mr. Rogers' show also taped), back in 1998.

You mean 1997, because WOF 15th season started in 1997.

Fred Rogers did drop by one of the Pittsburgh tapings, making his only game show appearance in the process.
