What else can I say but WOW! John.  You really outdid yourself on that clip.  Who'd thought that a game show host would be a suspect to a murder.  I can't believe I saw the whole episode.  That was so cool!

Pete played a bad guy in an episode of Lou Grant also. Art Fleming was an evil-doer on Starsky & Hutch. Dick Clark played the killer on the final black and white episode of Perry Mason. And Tom Kennedy played a murdering emcee on Hardcastle & McCormick.

To add to that list, Richard Dawson played a villain game show host in a movie with Arnold Schwarhneggar(spelling). Don't remember the name of the film though.

"The Running Man." Which wasn't horrible.

For some reason, the guy in the center of the poster looks like Todd Newton.  (Did somebody say make-up?)

One of my favorites..."Who loves you...and who do you love? DAMON!" Listen closely for Bumper Stumpers announcer Ken Ryan as the announcer on the show.

There was also an episode of Matlock where he defended an emcee and the real culprit was involved in a scheme to provide answers to some contestants.

I just saw this in the music store:  the first season of "Sledge Hammer" has just been released on DVD.  This is definately going on my Christmas list!

I can't remember if the Peter Marshall episode was the first or second season, but I'd suggest all fans of this show to buy the DVD, and then hopefully we'll get the second season.
