Calendar date in which the 20th century began. What is January 1, 1901? Which is 104 years ago today. That was the correct response to Alex Trebek's second episode of Jeopardy! in the Final Jeopardy! round which caused a 0-0-0 tie. I wonder if anyone could show a video clip for me to see that moment.

All three contestants bombed guessing "What is January 1?" & the correct answer being "What is January 2?" (New Year's Day 1989 fell on a Sunday). Another 0-0-0 tie & three new players the next day.

NY Day did fall on a Sunday in 1989, but the three way tie on zero occurred in April 1985. The FJ! clue asked about the Rose Bowl date in 1984, and NY Day fell on a Sunday that year. The next three way zero tie after that was during a quarter final game of the 1989 Seniors tournament.
