Title: Aussie Wheel
Post by: golden-road on July 13, 2005, 01:06:33 PM
I saw some pics, and I noticed a space marked PROTON, as well as a wheel of prizes. That got me to wonder, what other differences are there between Aussie Wheel and our Wheel?

Round 2 has neutrons on the wheel.  Round 3 has electrons.  At the end of the show, you must combine all your protons, neutrons, and electrons to make an element.  The all-time winner was able to make Plutonium 237.

I remember that!  He's coming back for the Tournament of Champions, where he'll compete for an Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator.

I remember that too! Seems to me the contestant's name was Marvin....I think he talked to the Wheel when it didn't spin his way. Something to the extent of "You are making me very angry"....He also was the first WoF contestant I saw who wore a helmet. Weird..

It's a good thing that Proton car is in Austraillia instead of here.  Just seeing that car kinda gives me the heebeegeebees.

As far as diffrences go, some of the dollar ammounts on the Aussie wheel do not end in $v00 or $x50 like our version(although ours had some whose last digits were 25/75 from the early days & on the CBS version in 1989 or 1990).  Some I've seen were like $180 or $340 or something like that.
