They played the "member of studio audience matches a celeb on a Head-to-head question" bit on the Friday shows of some weeks of the 1979-80 syndicated season as a time filler.

I'm trying to imagine any syndicated MG Friday show having time left over at the end, and failing. But I'll take everyone's word that it did happen on occasion.
