In the Michigan Radio & Tv Buzzboard, in a thread regarding the demise of local newscasts on WOTV ch.41 in Battle Creek, MI ( http://tinyurl.com/kx5c (http://\"http://tinyurl.com/kx5c\") ), someone mentioned that Johnny Olson did a local ID announcement during the days when the station was WUHQ:
\"THIS IS JOHNNY OLSEN SPEAKING,YOUR WATCHING WUHQ TV 41\"
Someone else there mentioned that this was during the time the station carried game shows featuring Olson, including The Price is Right and Match Game PM.
Did Johnny Olson do local IDs or promos for other TV stations?

According to reelradio.com, Johnny Olson did radio and TV spots for Charlotte's WBT and WBTV. There are a few clips of Johnny's announcing in the Tom McMurray collection.
