I'm planning on visiting the show to celebrate graduation and my 35th birthday.

1) What do you think of this for a t-shirt?

2) Any tips you can suggest that will help my chances of coming on down? I have an idea of mentioning that my Mazda Protege is ready to conk out on me (it's got 150,000 miles on it), and that I can count on Bob Barker to help me get a new car.

1) I'd keep the shirt simple, use contrasting lettering, and leave room in the upper right corner for the mandatory nametag. Personally, I'm not fond of the one you propose. I'm concerned they might not get the joke.

2) NO NO NO!!! This is not "Queen for a Day." Stories of woe will probably work against you. They want people who are there to have a good time and can play the games well. The latter they can't control, the former they can. Keep it positive. You can mention your car problems if/when you actually play for one, not that Barker's going to be any help.

I'm waiting for the day that someone dresses up as a radish and gets on the show a la LMAD. All of this hooey with the shirts makes me think they're going down that road.

Except that their one real dress code rule is "no costumes", so as to prevent exactly that.

Maybe one that says "I can't believe there's enough room on stage for me and Bob's huge ego-inflated head". :)

Well, if it were me, I'd outlaw the idiotic B0B R00LZ T-shirts, too, but it gives Bob something to talk about with the new player, and I'm sure seeing testaments to his greatness everywhere he looks while he's out there gives him massive wood, so I see why they stay.

Is that so?  Somehow, I find that hard to believe.
