Lord. And if they're going to give us Match Game, can't they at least have A DAMNED LIVELY CONTESTANT?

This episode so far is showing exactly what MG wasn't.

Poor Bill Dwyer.  I feel bad for him having to endorse this absolutely ridiculous list.

Only significance was it was the last show on the old set.

2nd episode is School Riot from 1977

I've never seen the episode in its entirety, so at least this is good.

And for the final night, #2 is Jeopardy which gets the clip treatment (at least Art Fleming got a mention), and #1 is, as figured, Match Game.

First episode of the night, a 1978 episode with the old set but with the Star Wheel.

Magical. Just freakin' magical. Taking nothing away from Match Game, but I'd love to know (other than the completely inexcusable excuse of "we own the rights") where they figure that a show that was resurrected and canned three times ranks higher than a show that debuted the same day and NEVER WENT OFF THE AIR.

Chris, you didn't see this coming?!?  Wow.

Match Game over, like, Jeopardy? I mean, sure, I realize this whole thing is a joke, but MATCH GAME? That's moving out of the realm of "joke" and firmly into "insult".

It's GSN, Chris.  I mean I stopped giving a damn at about number 30 something.  That said, yes it's an insult.  When I mentioned to my loving girlfriend she sent me no less than 10 text messages ranting about how unfair it was.

The whole thing reeked of unprofessionalism..There is no way GSN couldnt have licensed ONE EPISODE of Wheel, Jeopardy or TPIR.  I mean, we can disagree with the countdown (and indeed we have)..But having one episode of every show in your countdown just makes sense..I generally dont let GSN stuff bother me anymore because well..thats GSN..but this really irritates me..

GSN still runs J! and ran it this very morning.  I know there's probably some issue with not running it because when the 50 Greatest show runs, some stations on the West Coast are still running J!.  But it seems to me they could've gotten around it.  First, first-run J! is in summer reruns itself, and secondly since GSN obviously has access to the vault, a one-time showing of Alex's first show from '84 or the 2000th ep of Art Fleming's version (GSN ran that one once) surely wouldn't violate the spirit of any agreement which both sides could've negotiated this once.  But I'm guessing GSN wasn't all that interested for whatever reason.  I mean who actually wants something to suck?

I happen to agree, I mean surely they can air something from the early years of Trebek's verison or Art Flemings version. But only GSN knows why they decided not to air an episode of Jeopardy! I mean can it get any lower than that?

This is it!  The final 2 shows on what was a pathetic list, so here it goes.  Starting at #2 is J! This is the last of the "slight mentions" before the big kahuna!

With Match Game being the #1 show, I'd figure they'll throw me a couple bones.  The first episode was from 1978 featuring that Star Wheel.  I decided to leave that one & wait a half-hour before the next one.

Sure enough, we got the School Riot episode which oddly enough I haven'r seen in full untill now.  Now I understand why GSN put it there where it did on the list.  It made us look silly & were merely toying with us all the way.

Well, now the list is finally over.  After a 7-week torture fest, I realized there were better shows they could've put up there.  The only thing left to ponder now is will my alligance to GSN remains alive.  Quite frankly, I've lost it when it rebranded itself a few years ago.  I'll simply watch less GSN over the next few months unrill GSN is no more.

When I first heard about this project, I thought they might just show clips of every show, which might have been a better idea.  Bil couldn't have been in the studio for more than a couple hours total, did he even change clothes?
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Thumbs up tonight, though it was false advertising (The first ep was NOT the first Star Wheel epsiode...didn't Bil say it was, correct me if I'm wrong?). The School Riot was also great to watch. Thumbs up on this whole thing. I got to see things I've never seen before!

While this list had some gems, it had too many clunkers, and the last three shows was just a disgrace to the fans of Wheel, Price and Jeopardy!.

Another reason why I hate "Top x anything". And why GSN is gonna be having egg on their face.

That almost makes up for this entire week, I've tried forever to catch that one when it came up in GSN's cycle.  I've only seen it one other time in my life...and that's when it first ran, when I was 13.
