two soap themes come to mind:

The first theme to "Texas" and the "Another World" theme that ran most of the 80's.

Good choices! They're both Score compositions, if my memory serves. I always thought that "TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia)" would've made for a interesting game show theme. For those who don't know, it was the theme to Don Cornelius and his "SOOOOOOUUUUULLLL TRAIN"!

I have been catching up with "FlashForward" on Hulu and the end title theme is quite dramatic-- I wondered whether it was a GS composer that wrote it.

Not sure whether the end title actually plays on the ABC broadcast since I've never watched the show "live," only on Hulu.

One of MFSB's other cuts, "Sexy", was a prize cue on the 1980 "Let's Make a Deal", IIRC.

Another LMAD '80 prize cue was "Biyo", from Earth Wind & Fire.

/Monty seemed to be gettin' funky with it up in Canada, eh?

Speaking of MFSB, their cover of "K-Jee" (from the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack) would've also made for an excellent game show theme.

/Yes, I'm a Philly Soul fan (The 70's music styling, not the arena football team).

There are a million songs that would made great game themes, but some did make the cut and are probably only remembered in that context. Do you think anyone would have remembered Silvetti's "Spring Rain" if it weren't also the theme song to "The Love Experts"?

Au contraire, I heard that song long before I knew it was on "Love Experts."  It was a top 40 hit and I used to hear it as a commercial music bed.  Having it on a Bill Cullen show just made me enjoy it even more!  How about "Stomp" by Brothers Johnson or "Ai No Corrida" by Quncy Jones?
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

I am thinking more about two action series, and while what I have read sounds really good, these two come to my mind:
1) The Theme from "The Rockford Files" (Perhaps for a 70s or 80s game show).
2) The Theme from "MacGyver".  Now this sounds more like a game show theme than an adventure series theme.

Yeah, I knew it quite well too.  It used to be used in the background while describing hockey highlights quite frequently back then.  Also, Global TV in Toronto used it as the theme to their old "Sports Probe" show that aired weekly.

I know it hit the top 40 in Billboard but I don't ever recall hearing it on the radio.  I found a sealed copy of the album for 69c at Record Theatre in Buffalo in the early '90s.  Let's just say that was an easy purchase!

On my amateur production of "Go!" I used an appropriate choice from the Moody Blues: "Question." The melody sounds like something you'd hear after winning an end game of some sort.

Speaking of Soul Train, I always thought that the original Soul Train theme would've made a great game show theme for a game show that aired roundabout 1968 - 1971.

"Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen would make a pretty good theme.
