Child's Play on GSN
« on: November 04, 2006, 06:27:20 PM »
Did anyone else catch the 8am CT showing of Child's Play today?  Was that the premiere episode?  I only saw the first and last few minutes but Bill didn't seem to indicate anything about it being the 1st show in the short sections I watched.

While I'm glad to see some variety on the GSN schedule, personally I've never been all that fascinated with Child's Play.  The first rounds seem to drag on and on... it was nice to see the old bonus round format; I had forgotten how it was played.

Rafferty's Card Sharks was on at 8:30am.  Since there was a champion with ~$24K already, I'm guessing that it wasn't the first episode!

Yes, they're starting from the beginning.

I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would, the kids were hilarious.  Of course, I believe the producers felt the audience would tune in more for the humor--and the kids--than the gameplay.

You would be right about that.  Sunday morning's ep opened with Bill announcing it was the end of the week.
