I don't think anyone has really suggested such a thing. I'm just saying it's understandable why folks are frustrated and feel compelled to say something about it. And now I know to steer clear of these dicussions altogether, because it just deteriorates to bashing posters.

Yes, but Matt's point is; this is what many of the people who complain about GSN expect.

Example:
Quote
I never said that I wanted anything in primetime. All I said was there's nothing worth watching anymore, it's all been seen 14,675,981 times already. Trivia Trap and TTTT90 were good examples of what I'd like---one, just ONE slot for the rare stuff in the morning.
Or the person who demands all the episodes of Press Your Luck.
Or the person who wants The Price is Right on GSN Now.[/i]

It simply gets old hearing the same garbage.

To recap, here's the NEW NEW NEW Sunday Night Buzz:
Quote
8:00p Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
9:00p Weakest Link
10:00p Greed
Hey, it's a 2000 class reunion with Regis, Anne, and Chuck.  If the Twenty One marathon this Sunday makes noise, maybe Maury will join, too.  Then, all we need is Winning Lines to make it look like old times.  (Won't happen, but we wouldn't say no to a Wonderwall montage.)

And IMHO, this is what I think GSN is going for.

The mix of shows is great; but I have some problems with the formatting of the schedule itself.  Does Whammy really need to be run back-to-back?  I have the same issue with Feud; I get burnout.

Also, having Friend or Foe lead into Who Wants to be a Millionaire seems poor; if they must have an original in that slot; I'd make it Russian Roulette since it is Q/A as well.

And, unless I missed it--no Family Feud?

I think GSN is trying to hang onto the kids who watch the Video Game block.  Whammy is probably the best original for them to do so.

I'll still have Blockbusters.  If either the double-run of Pyramid or the weekday run of Jeopardy! means they're showing \"new\" episodes, this is a welcome development indeed!

It was just inconsistent, IMO since I thought they made FF interactive.

Comparing Paranoia to Millionaire, Link, and Greed is like comparing Pong to the XBox.

PARANOIA is owned by ABC Family (formerly FOX Family).

Also: Is \"Blockbusters\" staying on GSN's weekend schedule effective Saturday, October 18? Why not another Goodson-Todman classic in its place like maybe \"Password Plus\", \"Super Password\", \"Now You See It\", \"Trivia Trap\", \"Tattletales\", \"Mindreaders\" (if it is survived by the G-T folks), \"Body Language\", \"Double Dare\" (Alex Trebek), \"Beat the Clock\" (Monty Hall version), \"The Better Sex\" (if all the episodes survive), or \"Child's Play\"? Or one of the several color versions of \"To Tell The Truth\"?

Footnote on Blockbusters: On the TV Guide digital cable on screen guide \"Blockbusters\" is highlighted in red (red is a show for kids) but it is not a kids show (The British \"Blockbusters\" was a kids-teen version, \"Now You See It\" in Australia was also a kids-teen version!)

Hey now.  That \"Pong\" game got me a PC! :-P

Adding Paranoia makes no sense at all.  The game was complicated as heck (see the 9 pages of official rules I posted earlier this year) plus the real draws, IMHO, were the interactive component and the show being done live.  Plus all of a dozen shows were made.
