Seconded. If I remember correctly, Pressman did the box games.

Regis' Edition lasted for 3 years. It had 3 box games (2 editions and a Junior version), 4 computer games (3 editions and a Kids Version), a PS2 port, and a GBC port.

Meredith's version is in its 8th season. It has had a DVD game and 2 phone versions (2009, 2010). That's kinda lopsided, even if you take in the fact that Regis' version was during the epicenter of Millionaire Mania.

I'm surprised that they haven't released a new box game in 8 years. It makes for such a great party game, especially because the lifelines ensure that everyone in the room can get involved at any time.

I myself am hoping for a new PC version to be released- the music game the game a much better ambience.

For the record, 5th Grader got renewed, so anything's possible.

Kind of surprising that Wheel and J! were never offered on the Wii.

I'm not. Since Sony has had a gaming console out, it's been the only console to feature Wheel! and Jeop!.

To the point where other, high-quality, put-biscuits-on-my-dinner-table gaming websites received notice from Sony to take those games down. They're guarding that IP pretty heavily. (And really, they should; it's really strong IP.)

Not quite (the N64 got a port of Wheel in 1997, two years after the PlayStation's debut), but yeah, I get your point.

Qualify that with "since PSN has been out and Sony has had a vested interested in reserving their IP to provide exclusive content for their online service" and it's spot on.

Both the N64 versions of Wheel and Jeopardy, BTW, were the very last ones ever developed by GameTek.

This isn't necessarily new. Some Targets have put TPiR 2010 for the DS on clearance. My local Target had it for 30% off, or roughly $21.

While in Toys R Us earlier today, I saw a "Scratch & Play" version of DOND, from Tara Toys. No, not the "scratch & play" book! This mini-game, selling for $3.99, I found near party supplies. It contains six cards to play with. One side looks like a briefcase, with the show's logo on it, the other side has a grid of 12 briefcases, a "prize table," (showing all amounts available), and instructions. It looks like a shortened game, with no bank offers involved. Just reveal amounts in cases as you "scratch," the coating off the card, and the last case not scratched is what your final prize is.

Tara Toys also makes lots of other party games/activity products, like mini-Etch-a-Sketch toys, mini-Uno card games, and also mini activity booklets based on AYSTAFG, with lots of questions similar to the show.

For anyone (like me) who exhausted the pack that came with the Millionaire 2010 iPhone/iPod game, there are now three new packs available to play with. Each pack (The "Lifeline Pack", the "Hotseat Pack" and the "Final Answer Pack") contain 500 maingame questions and 250 fastest finger questions priced at 99¢ a piece.

Perhaps the best thing to do is wait and see, but there's some confusing pictures at the site www.boardgames4us.com, which is showing summer release date for some new Endless Games products. My best guess is that these are prototype boxes, since the illustration for last year's Newlywed Game Deluxe, is different from the actual game box, and from what EG shows at their website.

However, if these illustrations are accurate, then Password will have a logo closer to the original MB game logo, Family Feud will be like their first three editions, without the big console board similar to MB and Pressman. What the difference is between the two versions of Million Dollar Password, as shown on the site, I don't know.

Well, the Toy Fair is about 2 1/2 weeks away, so maybe we'll know by then

Million Dollar Password is looking to start trying for the record to beat 1 vs. 100's record for most crap produced post-cancelation. Regis has already broken the point-on-as-many-products-as-you-can record. I'm actually looking forward to a new MDP game. Hopefully they'll watch a couple of episodes and try to re-gauge the difficulty of the elimination words from the first edition.

Assuming she's still on board, I don't think the same mistake will be made twice.

I'll point out that they've been pumping out crap content for many many years prior to the release of the MDP home game. They have had AMPLE opportunity to "not make the same mistake twice."

I suppose we will see.
