Ludia has posted their Family Feud Decades page...with a rendering of the Combs Bullseye set. [mrburns] Excellent. [/mrburns]
It looks a bit...big, but that'll probably change when we see it in action. Right now, though, it still looks awesome.

/can't find a video of the sets from the PS2 game.

Yes, they were. You had to play CONTINUALLY to unlock them- no saving and coming back. I think the Dawson set was unlocked after reaching $100k, so unlocking the rest was a little much to ask. However, Global Star did put the "Unlock all sets" code on their website at one time. The sets were pretty true to form (i.e. the host came out from under the wall on the Feud 99 set, and Dawson's 94 set had the "Family Feud" flashing on the bankroll scoreboard in the intro, and I'm pretty sure the set went red for Fast Money.

Although the game's graphics were crappy, it was kinda neat to see that they made sure the sets were true to form.

I didn't know they included the 94' set on that game. I thought it went from Combs to Anderson. That would be interesting to see. I think I unlocked the Dawson set and that was it. I still have the game somewhere stashed away.

It did.

I always thought the asterisks denoted something representing a broader category. Such as "lingerie" including all undergarments/clothes. But, I may be wrong.

You might be right. That makes sense.

I doubt it would be number one answer. If I was a contestant and we had 170 points, was down to the last question and it was revealed with an asterisk, I would pretty much know that we've won before the reveal ruining the suspense. I think my guess above may be right but who knows. I forgot about the asterisks until now. Vaguely remember them from GSN reruns, this just jogged my memory.

I think that's what I got. According to the instruction booklet, another set was unlocked upon getting $200,000. The other two required getting all five top answers in Fast Money and sweeping a main-game round.

Does anybody happen to know the code? I can't seem to find it.

I meant the set on the PC game, but no worries :)

I only remember seeing the asterisks on the first half of Fast Money; maybe there was some sort of bonus that was to be implemented in the game?

Nope...it was a series of about 20 letters and numbers, so it's not even some random word associated with the game.

It did not turn red on the PC game. If you scroll through the photo set, you'll see they used an honest-to-goodness screengrab for the Combs opening logo.

So they did put the '94 set on there. Cool to see, even though the game sucks butt.

Family Feud Decades should be better.

The game had Feud 94? That might be worth renting.

I've always been a fan of the Feud 94 set, even if it was overly basic and barren.

It had its cool elements (loved the strobe light that went off when a family won), but it did not hold up well after 16 years. I don't know what dental office closed down in L.A., but they def. went overboard on the faux glass brick. I think with some neon or chase lights, and had the board not been done in brick as well, it might've looked a little better.

The chyroned main game board absolutely ruined it for me.  Just felt so, so cheap, as did cutting out 2 rounds of the Bullseye/Bankroll.

Theme update was awesome, though.
