I see one issue already just in the screengrabs.  In the 3rd grab, the question asks "Who is the most trusted name in news?"  A better question would be "Which cable channel claims in their ads to be 'the most trusted name in news'?"

I pre-ordered 1 vs. 100 a few weeks ago.  I'll write a review once I receive it.

That should seriously frighten you.

Yet another quasi-game show game I ran across today which I hadn't heard of previously--the Banzai DVD game.  I found it at Go!: The Game Store at Tower City in Cleveland for $5.  A few copies are on eBay.

The Identity board game was also in stock at Go! for $12.49.  I snagged one copy.  There's one left in the store.  The sales associate told me he's had inquiries about and orders of the Identity home game from as far away as California.  I wouldn't be surprised if any of those folks are from this board.

Endless *really* added an extra zero to make it "$1,000,000 Pyramid"? Really?

These aren't even on Endless's site. Good to know some things don't change, I guess.

(What's sad is that it would still be cool to have.)

Do we have any way of finding out if that tin has the full 5th Edition card set in it, or just a smattering of the cards? If it's the full set, I'm all over that like Rachael Ray on a shiatty clue.

(Actually, I guess the "1,000 New Words!" declaration answers that last question for me. Nifty.)

Thought I'd throw a tip out there for interested parties: I'm cruising Buy.com because they have a thumb drive I want on sale (4GB Sandisk Cruzer: $20 shipped), and I see they have the Identity card game for six bucks. (Plus five for shipping, but savvy shoppers should be able to circumvent or mitigate that.)

Anyhow, we have some collectors here who might be interested just for the novelty, and it says they have very few left, so I thought I'd put it out there.

My 2 cents on the Sandisk Cruzer...

I've gone through two 2 GB versions in about a year.  The first one's case snapped while helping a student at school, thus making the drive unusable.  The second flat out died on me at work in March, after 6 to 8 months of ownership.  I have been using a generic Micro Center 4 GB thumb drive ($16.  CHEAP!) since then with no problems.  Since it appears that the closest Micro Center from Seattle is roughly 850 miles away, the Micro Center drive is not an option. :-)

Caveat emptor, Chris.

And I've had one of the very same drives I linked above for...lessee. Since December of 2006, because it was a holiday gift at my previous job (my last day was two days later, thank Glub). And it's been BEYOND AWESOME this entire time. This second one is going to replace my Zip drive.

So I do appreciate the warning, but rest assured that this buyer is quite familiar with the product you're suggesting he beware. :)

I will repeat what Chris said--the Cruzers are outstanding flash drives when they worked for me.  Obviously I'm not a fan of their casings, but I should've purchased a drive which could withstand the antics done by my sometimes reckless students.  I have no clue how Cruzer #2 died.  It was a great drive while it lasted.

I think they do a Titanium version for about $10-$15 more that you can jump up and down on if you need to. :) Mine generally stays on its lanyard, and floats in either my messenger bag or my laptop bag, depending on where it is needed. I have not tested them for high-school-student-grade durability because I haven't needed to. :)
