The TPIR electronic tabletop game has been reduced to $14.66 at Amazon, slightly less than half of list price.

He has plenty of good points, but it also sounds like this guy has a few (legitimate) axes to grind outside of the actual game.

That was clearly a freelance job from some kid looking to make a name for himself as a reviewer. And he failed. That was utter crap writing.

Oh, easily.

The game does have plenty of flaws but... reviews like that are why I don't generally 'use' reviews for anything.

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

Rest assured that yours is a VERY isolated experience.

Which is why I really stick to what I know I like. I've only returned two games in the last like five years. The TPIR game wasn't quite what I hoped, but I've still enjoyed it nevertheless.

Don't get me started on Sony. My dim view of them couldn't get dimmer if you threw a sheet over it.

Could you explain? I've never heard of anybody doing what Mark did there, but if that's true (and not an unofficial policy he's created unknowingly) that sounds like good customer relations. Albeit, I don't know why a company would make it easier on you to return their games, but...

If I understand Chris correctly, to explain it sufficiently to make it understandable is to fail to avoid what he's trying to avoid by not explaining it.

(I should know--I just tried about three different ways myself, and gave up. Jason's last sentence in his last post bears some further thought, though.)
