OMG frightening models.
My first thought.  For a show that makes its super-hot models part of the attraction, turning them into those bubble-headed monstrosity Wii characters is way creepy.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

They missed a golden opportunity: there should be a setting where the cases can be carried by the other Miis on your system instead of those OMG frightening models.
Or to even do what the 360 is doing with 1v100- put the game online and play with other Miis in a multiplayer mode.

EDIT: 1 v. 100/ 360 Primetime isn't due until Spring.

Fact To Make You Feel Old: Just about every contestant who appears in a Price is Right Teen Week episode from here on out has only known a world where Drew Carey has been the host.

(And the Achievement...for turning down a $300K offer is an ass? I'll say. ;))

That made me smile.  Maybe that should be a permanent part of the real show, too!  :)

Might pick it up if somewhere it goes for under $20.  Definitely avoiding at the $30 point.

1. You could play the game in the backdrop of other countries, such as the UK or Australia. I reckon this wouldn't be that hard to do. Would it sell extra copies? Probably not. But it would be self-indulgent.
That's a *lot* of extra animation and rendering that you're asking of them. Hard to do? No, likely not. Incredibly resource-consuming for a budget title? Oh yeah.

That set looks like a haunted house.  All curvy and gothic looking.  It's like you're tripping on acid looking at it.

Why'd I know you'd appreciate that? ;-)  It was a Million Dollar Mission game with 13 $1M cases.  Of course I'm turning down $300K after the 3rd round.

It is much improved over the DS version.  On the other hand, harikiri is much improved over Deal for the DS.

Go for it. Speaking of the same game, I paid a slightly higher price of $12 Us at KB toys Liquidation sale. That was the only game they had left though, besides Chutes and Ladders.

The website www.virtualpressoffice.com lists a couple of reports from iToys, mentioning "Platinum editions" of Deal or No Deal, as well as a Wheel of Fortune TABLETOP electronic game to be marketed in 2009!

I could only see the headlines to those, since only registered users of the site can access the full reports.  The annual Toy Fair in New York is next weekend, so maybe they'll be unveiling prototype models, and providing more information then.

As per irwintoy.com, it shows a new tabletop version of Million Dollar Password that looks pretty cool.  And the top prize for the new Deal games is $3,000,000!

Hot damn! That Password tabletop looks super cool. Now let's just hope its elimination round doesn't feature gems like "Trinket", "Sustain" or "Forthright" like Endless's does.

Oh, well, that launches it right into "buy" territory. I wasn't satisfied when it was only $1,000,000 in FAKE MONEY YOU DON'T ACTUALLY WIN.
