The Price Is Right Doors

I'm just wondering if they are gonna revert to the previous design, keep the current background with a larger logo, or do a total redesign of the doors. Any ideas?

In addition, I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but did the doors with the blue background premiere in season 31?

Anything is possible, but I can't see them reverting to the Season 31-34 doors.
Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

I'm more scared that they're gonna try and go with some hip, updated logo.

There will be a new design of sorts.  Nothing terribly drastic.

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

Maybe they'll have a video wall, black marble floor, and marbleized doors.

Oh wait.

Well, Joe Pasquale sure as heck isn't using his anymore.

Actually, Mark, I'm thinking they may do exactly that. Right down to the reorchestrated theme.

Like what Bob Israel did to the Feud theme in the 1988 revival, I hope maybe Edd Kalehoff (or Score, Michael Karp or some other contracted composer/musician) would use the EXACT same musical arrangement.  Just modernize the instruments to make it sound less aged.

Don't let Groove Addicts (composers of the US Deal or No Deal theme) touch this baby.

That would please me a great deal. As I've said before, the set and theme were FAR AND AWAY the best parts of the 1994 version.

Quoted for truth.  However, if they were planning to keep the set as is (no major changes), I'd rather see a freshen up instrumentation-wise over the saxy 1994 theme.  That theme just doesn't seem to gel with the current set, IMO.

I don't *think* I disagree, but I do think the set should be overhauled, as much as (or maybe because) it would piss off the TPiR fanb0is.
