I was asking because a lot of people I know refer to the civilian epsisodes as the "All-Star" version. No need to be rude about it.

Well, they would be wrong too. Please pass my "wow" along to them. [/quote]

But...*sigh* forget it. I was wrong, whatever. No skin off my back. :)

Helpful hint: if "a lot of people you know" believe something, and those people frequent a board that has been known to punish members for posting correct information, you should give it an extra thought at the very least.

But you've got the right attitude for dealing with mistakes.  Take a deep breath, admit it, and try your best not to do it again.  That's all we can ask. :-)

Oh I know, I'm fine with that, I've been humbled quite a lot on this board, and have admitted to my stupidity. It's just when people have to add in the extra snarkage ("/wow") that just makes me question why they have to be using high school taunting and sarcasm. They really shouldn't HAVE to. It's cases like that that made me want to not post here until February of 2006. Oh well, C'est la vie. I was very much wrong in that one. :)

Oh, I agree. I do it because I enjoy it...

Well we have even more schedule changes. These changes come from Zap2it.

The 3pm Blockbusters is being removed for Family Feud with Dawson. Blockbusters will now be on Weekends at 10:30am only. But there is nothing in the space for the 5pm slot. I wonder what is going in there.

The 6pm weekday slot will now be more "Millionaire.

The 3:30pm airing of Lingo will be the only airing Lingo gets on weekdays. 7pm will be the new season of That's The Question, and 7:30pm will be Camouflage.

All these changes happen on September 10th.

Somehow I think this move cancels out what is going to be happening late Sunday nights. Sucks for Blockbusters and Lingo and kinda sucks overall compared to other recent moves.

Knowing GSN, 5:00 will be another Karn Feud:(.

You mean a show that GSN has shown the full run of numerous times, and an original that has enough reruns on other days, automatically nulls the move GSN did for Sundays?

I don't care about what GSN does at 5 P.M., honestly. As long as the Sunday Midnight-4 A.M. schedule stays put, I don't care what they put on weekdays at 5. That change is awesome...I haven't seen much of Hall Beat the Clock, and Double Dare is a favorite of mine.

Yeah, those two are definite Tivo material for me, too. When I was in third grade, I would watch Beat The Clock while I was eatin' breakfast and then Mom would take me to school.

/which sucked, because Whew! was on right after, so I didn't get to see that unless I was home sick

Maybe they'll surprise you and pick up Family Feud Challenge instead.  Why is it such a bad thing?  Isn't the Sunday night block a decent enough tradeoff?

I find it hard to believe that there is only going to be one episode of Lingo per weekday.  I don't disagree with the reduction, but it just seems a little out of character.

Maybe we'll get lucky and get something that hasn't been in the rotation (recently).
This signature is currently under construction.

I wouldn't be even remotely surprised to find out it's just the syndicated Weakest Link.

Agreed, and it baffles my mind why GSN would downgrade Lingo to bring back That's The Question when the latter has not seen any airtime in months though if it did it would be major rerun abuse. I didn't have access to GSN at the time, but did Lingo take a break between their 20 Amsterdam episodes and when production started in LA, even though the amount of time between the two was a lot smaller than what's happening now?

The DVR will be busy running, since given the choice between Camouflage and Lingo I'd take Lingo in a heartbeat. I wonder if the "original to fill a hole" show will shift given how old Camouflage has gotten in a mere two months (well, just short of it).

And just when you thought GSN was done changing the schedule around, there is even more. According to the GSN pages, they now list "That's The Question" for Tuesday September 11th at 9pm.

So it seems that the show will be getting a primetime slot for its Season Premiere. I wonder if Lingo will be put pack at 7:30pm.

Hey, speaking of, do we know if this "season" was shot here in the States, or did they go over to the Netherlands again?
