Just what we need -- more Price (which is a good thing).

Just what we need -- more reruns on Wednesdays (which is a bad thing).

No doubt the competition has pummeled Power of 10 -- that's a great game show; too bad it's on opposite DOND.

I also anticipate NBC moving 1 vs. 100 to another time slot, just to get out of TPIR's way.

I'm actually surprised they are doing this many.

As of now, they tape 2/11-2/13
Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

Funny. I'd been thinking that, if Drew could handle the workload, a Po10/TPiR pairing would have been natural (albeit with the obvious jokes about having 30 seconds to fly cross-country.)

I note the lack of the words "Million Dollar Spectacular" in the reports (and the CBS press release, up at thefutoncritic). I can only cross my fingers that stunt has been abandoned.

So they still plan to air Po10 during the summer. I can live with that.

/One of the few primetime shows that deserves to stay on the air
//That and 1 vs. 100

I hope they're not surprised at the ratings, considering the questionable scheduling from the get-go.

If they have a meeting to wonder why, there's every reason for Bill Engvall to walk in and give 'em a "Here's your sign" routine.

Power of 10 is pulled...

...which sucks, because this could have been CBS's golden opportunity to have Drew back to back.

If this is just standard nighttime TPIR, minus the guaranteed $1 million spins, minus themed shows, and keeping a slightly augmented prize budget, count me in.

Trust me, if it was only against DoND, there wouldn't be a problem.  It's that jugger-not-worth-watching on FOX that killed it for good.

It may not be FOR GOOD.  The article says CBS plans to bring it back next summer.  I know the networks many times have backed off such statements many times.  However, the episdoes are completed, it did better in the summer, and CBS now has a reason to want to keep Drew happy.  So I would take CBS at it word that it will be back next summer.

And it's a lot easier to get a game show back in production.  They're not going to return in the summer with just the two unaired episodes.

Man, can you imagine the anxiety of being a contestant who won a sizable sum on an unaired ep waiting for word?  I imagine PO10 has the same standard "if it doesn't air, you might not get paid" disclaimer that the others do..

Does anyone know if there's been more talk about taking PIR on the road? Drew mentioned it in a few interviews before he took over, but I've not heard anything since.

Power of 10 Grand Sharks

There, fixed that for you.

(See, it's a reference to Power of 10 being a rip-off derivative fusion of Card Sharks and Grand Game.)

And to say that any format that uses a "predict the survey" element is a rip-off of Family Feud or Card Sharks is silly.
