Fred Roggin is involved, so it will suck by default.

But departing guests will at least get to enjoy a fresh loaf of bread.

I don't think they will. If I'm right, I believe both west coast and east coast will have the same shows; it's just that east coast viewers will have Super Password, Family Feud, Match Game, Card Sharks, Jeopardy, and Password Plus from 12PM-3PM, while west coast viewers will have the same shows, but from 9AM-12PM.

No, the schedules will be changed so that the particular block will run simultaneously on both feeds.

So they hired Heidi Bohay - you remember her from 80's Pyramid - for balance. Good job, GSN.

/she's still married to that Spound guy

During Feud at 9:00pm, GSN ran an ad for a new interactive program called "GSN Live". The commercial went by really fast, but here is what I saw.

The promo says the show will begin on February 25th at 12pm. It also says "The show is not ready yet", "Less Commercials", and "more prizes coming". From this I have a feeling that this could be interstitial programming that will be between shows commerical breaks.

That is really all I could see. If it is interstitial programming, I would not mind. To me, that is what Playmania should have always been.

What game shows do we expect to see on GSN Live?

Steve Beverly mentioned on his site that GSN is looking for past contestants on shows either on the GSN schedule, or in the GSN library.  I'm thinking that when they get a few for interviews, they could actually air their episode during GSN Live, instead of the regularly-scheduled program.  That way they'd pull stuff out of "the vault" once in a while.

Could happen...

White? I'm thinking it would need to be red or blue for them to know where to go. :)

I know what you really mean by that!

\ObGameShow: Airplane 2 featured a quickie involving the passenegers' lives being in jeopardy.

Paging Dan Avila!  They could have a field day with him - Joker's Wild, Break the Bank, Greed - plus probably a couple of other goodies in GSN's holdings.  How many shows was he on again? :)

Phyllis Harris would also be an obvious choice, with Card Sharks, Greed, Trivia Trap, Millionaire and even Grand Slam to her credit.  She did Wheel as well, but I don't know whether GSN has access to her appearance there.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

[A]nd even Grand Slam to her credit.

Honestly, why not go for a reunion of sorts? Perhaps not every single contestant (for example, Ogi Ogas-does GSN even own the daytime Millionaire?), but a few of the bigger winners, i.e. Dan, Phyllis, Thom McK.
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!
