Wasn't "game show researcher" Zach Horan a occasional contributor/source of information for Steve's site some years ago?

Steve's faults aside, I may be among the few who will actually miss his site a little if/when it's gone.  It did sometimes give me some useful info, such as upcoming programs, reviews, or FAQs, etc.

I also like his features on the past, such as the current series on What's My Line?   Always an interesting read.

/I wonder how much of it is true...

Steve was a very helpful resource and gave me tips and pointers on how to slant the article toward our readers.

(snip)

But at least in my eyes, i'll always remember him for the updates and how he helped me.

That's just it -- slanted.  Whatever happened to journalistic integrity, namely publishing what happened and leaving the editorial crap to the editorial section?

No offense, but I hope that help included a lesson on how not to write a story, namely in his style.

When I meant slanted, he gave me pointers on how to make it more interesting toward the potential audience- the college student.

I'll second that I'm sorry to see it go.

I know.  :-)

I had another kind of slant in mind.

I liked his site and will miss it. It will be interesting to see what the Beverly Bashers focus on now.

I swear, if I see you running down the streets of my town wearing tights and a cape, I'm getting my gun. ;)

Well, I kinda doubt it will be the Game Show Congreff.

Sorry, the "Casino Games and Show" Congreff.

It just so happens that the special guest for Stu's Show (This Wednesday, 7-9ET/4-6PT at shokusradio.com) will be the Perfesser himself!
[/quote]
Don't know if any of you caught the show last night (if not, many of you know it'll repeat throughout the week), but from what Stu said, I think he reads this board. Unless there's another place where the webmaster's decision was discussed which is certainly possible, just unknown to me.
I feel as though some of us may have been spanked and sent to the corner.
In other Stu's Show news, his guest in a few weeks will be William Schallert---which is a big thrill for fans of The Patty Duke Show, of which I am one. I may transition from listener to caller for the first time when that show's on.

I've never had any doubt of that. He thinks far too much of himself not to.

No, Chris. Stosh was silent about the matter. Stu had a little filibuster about it, though.
