Considering that "700 Club" is a time buy by CBN, I think the station is happy to take the revenue in a dead time period (unless you have "Today" or Regis and Kelly or are a Fox/MyTV affil that more or less has to take Mike and Juliet--or if you're WLS in Chicago and have Oprah).

Alas, not sure if the expanded hour with Mike and Jan is anymore better or worse.

\Then again watching Jan in the morning is a hell of a way to get up
\\NOT LIKE THAT, HOWEVER! ;)

Oof!  4AM in Philadelphia.  That can't be good.

Pittsburgh has TP TBA, but since it's WPXI, I'm thinking it may be 1:30PM.
I was wrong.  WPXI is putting it at 4AM, same as Philly.

Apparently there's been a change in the Harrisburg market...

I emailed WHP to find out about any changes in the schedule - "700 Club" is now going in at the 9am hour, with "The Doctors" at 10. WLYH will now have the DoND hour at 7. As for Millionaire? It's moving to Fox43.

I notice a lot more stations airing "700 Club" now than before as well..
700 Club is such a terrible, awful lead-in to The Doctors. I knew 21 picked that show up, and Millionaire never did well for 21 at 10a, so I'm not too surprised by the move. King World (or CBS or whatever they are calling themselves these days) has high, high hopes for Doctors...I'd actually rather watch the 700 Club given the choice.

It would have been nice if WHP had kept Millionaire and LMAed it over to WLYH at 7:30. That Millionaire/DOND combo at 7p would be an interesting matchup, albeit they would be competing with themselves because WHP has Wheel/J in the 7p hour. But I'll take an hour of Deal at 7, it's a great alternative to other programs at that hour.

Millionaire will now have aired on three stations in our five-commercial-station market in its six years. I wonder where 43 will schedule it...probably in early fringe or against soaps. It's too much to hope that it would end up after I got home from work!

I was wondering why the heck WREX would drop Regis...makes a bit more sense now.  Tough to squeeze in stuff like Trivial Pursuit and DoND when you've already got 700 Club and forty-three hours of Today on top of that.

WOF and J! have issued their press releases for the new season..

Nothing really now on the WOF front...

A couple of new things on the J! front..I think the "Kids Week Reunion" (15 kids from the first Kids Weeks in '99 and '00 come back to play again) to start the season is an interesting idea....

The J! press release mentions an all-new high-tech set for the CES shows...I wonder if that will signal a change to the LA set in the process?

If it wasn't already reported, Millionaire goes back to late afternoons on the number 9. It gets moved from 11am to 5pm to coincide with the debut of the 5:30 news. If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time Millionaire has been on "late" since it was on WBBM when it first premiered.

It wouldn't surprise me.  You had fairly major set changes in '84, '91, '97, '02(?)...we're six years out on the current set.

Jeopardy has always been on the cusp of "high-tech" sets, anyway, IMO.

I'm curious, where do you find advance local schedules? I'm curious to see if there's any changes in my area as well.

Saw the preview last night after I got home. Not sure where else to get them, however.

Yep.....WHTM-27 from 2002 to 2006, WHP-21 from 2006 to 2008, and now WPMT-43....I would imagine they will probably schedule it sometime in the afternoon. Did they pick up Trivial Pursuit? If so, probably another 3 hour game show block ending with "Feud"...

Except the set just got modified to be HD-friendly.  Granted, it wasn't much of a change, but it doesn't seem correct to say that the set's been the same for 6 years.

To be honest, though, how much more high-tech can you get?  Will there be LED's displaying the clue in binary?  Hologram Daily Doubles?

/I guess the monitors could be new models and whatnot.

Thanks to a quantum video feed, we'll see clues read by Franklin Roosevelt and Dr. Zefram Cochrane.

I saw TP is airing at 11 on WNEM. Are they dropping Price? Crazy if they are!
