And now, they have the 25 Worst Game Shows of All Time

/Whatever this guy's definition of "worst" is, it ain't mine.
[/quote]

That's an understatement.

Of course I have to pick this nit: I get the feeling he never saw Yahtzee based on his description. He probably read a summary online...

-Classic Concentration
-Card Sharks
-Sale of the Century

Stopped reading right there. Okay, I kept reading, and my mind continued to boggle at the utter cluelessness and dumbassery committed on behalf of the writer. Singing Bee? Scrabble?! Temptation?!!! Oh wait, that last one is valid.

That was...a way to get people to argue about the list, and draw eyeballs to the site.

Right....but this is the 25 WORST!!  Lowest of the lowest DRECK!!  What I saw looks more like a little lower than the top 50 (well, with obvious exceptions...like Temptation, and Moment of Truth).  Surely, we can make a list a lot better than that piece of trash.

But do we want to take the chance on such a task, and who among us is brave enough to do so?

More importantly, who wants to deal with the potential flame wars?
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

I wonder...if Scrabble was so lame and boring, why did it last six years? And I could understand if he said Card Sharks '01 sucked, but all of them?

Which is why I won't give them so much as the single unique.

Certainly not me.  The problem with making a ranked "worst" list is that the subjectivity of it is off-the-scale different than making a similar "best" list.  There's a huge difference between "worst" and "shows I didn't like" that completely eludes most people.  If we were to do it, no doubt the original Gong Show would end up high on the list, despite a multi-year run and an impact on popular culture that still resonates today.  People would choose You're In the Picture for its place in history, yet from a quality standpoint it wasn't nearly as bad as Gleason famously complained, and not as bad as many similar but more obscure shows of the era.  In fact, almost by definition, the truly "worst" shows are going to be the ones that made so little of a splash that no one remembers them.

The Chair makes it, but not The Chamber?  Wow.

The list does get progressively worse as it gets closer to the top, though.

These lists attest that for this author it's the show, not the host.  Concurrent with hosting one of the best ("Love Connection") Chuck Woolery was hosting one of the worst ("Scrabble.")  :)

Plus the author likes Jim Perry, but not his shows?
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

.....and this list is getting EXACTLY the result its author hoped it would.

I wonder if he's a user here.

Hey, wait a minute.  EXTREME GONG and Bleu GONG definitely, but the original GONG?

/Yeah, it probably would.  But I couldn't just sit idly by on this one.  :)

Can't argue with 1-9 on the newer list.  The rest of it is unadulterated blasphemy.
