And next air date TBA? I figured any sign of Millionaire on their site would be long gone after a year plus, but I guess not

Steve Beverly said that there was some discussion on summer 2004, but that it's still got a page on ABC indicates that it has a lot of history and that they still MIGHT do it...

But PLEASE bring back the bleeping phone game if they do!!!

Although I still love "Millionaire", it just doesn't seem quite the same to me as it did during the Regis days.

I hope it does come back in the summer of 2004, with the phone game, to try to restore a bit of what it was all about in the beginning.  When it started up it was definately "appointment television", and something I looked forward to with great anticipation prior to each show.

It really wouldn't be that difficult for them to do it and I don't see why they don't. It's not like there's much else going on in the summer. Just make sure it's announced and kept as a limited series. Go off for a few weeks, create a buzz, and then come back.

And keep the Celebrity editions(Which killed the damn show in the first place!) to a minimum or none at all.

It would succeed on this kind of format, just like the TPIR MDS's do.

You may've noticed that they've kept the celeb shows off of the syndicated version.  They've learned their lesson (one hopes that Susan Lyne and Lloyd Braun have, too).
