Oh, and Matt...

My real name is James. Just don't call me late for dinner. Love the Quizbusters show. Whatever happened to that Chad Mosher kid, is he doing all right? ;-)

Dollars to donuts, when they say "temporarily closed for renovations", they end up saying "closed forever". I've came across alot of businesses that say "closed for remodeling", only to end up with a "for sale" or "for lease" sign afterwards.

Absolutely...There was a whole chain of "Closed For Remodeling" locations about 20 years ago in T-Town.  In fact, the hotel/restaurant's Secor Road neighbors (Showcase Cinemas to the south and Sisters Chicken to the north -- separated by a hotel [Quality Inn] and I-475 accordingly) suffered the same demise about one score ago.

/Anybody remember the old White Hut @ Secor & Sylvania???  That place was loaded with neon back in it's day!

There was a soap-themed restaurant in Virginia (IIRC) back in the 1980s, but that didn't last long, I presume.

Actually - I was thinking more of the "Bankrupt" or "Wipeout" sound, myself.

It's too bad.  I was looking forward to having a Monty Cristo, telling the waitress "That's Too Much!" when she asked if I wanted to look at the dessert trays or going to the Deal or No Deal-themed Fruit Salad bar.  I heard that has a nice selection of melons.

Perhaps too many people were successful in trying to "Pass The Buck" and leave without paying, forcing the restaurant into "Debt"!

I heard Jack Barry telling me to enjoy choice shows from the past season, until the "renovations" are complete...but I'm weird that way.

...perfect for "Double Dipping", recommended by the "Three Wise Men". "Phone a Friend" and have him have lunch with you.

I'm actually a little disappointed it folded so quickly, I think this would've made a fun little mini-road trip destination with friends.
